Sonderausstellung »Europa entdecken!«   Special Exhibition “Discover Europe!”

Discover Europe!” was planned as a preview show of the permanent exhibition to be shown in the Bruno-Paul-Building of the Dahlem Museums after its renovation. The exhibition was designed by Busmann + Haberer Architects.

Besides the graphic exhibition design I also designed the accompanying catalog as well as all the promotional material.

Ausstellung im Museum Europäischer Kulturen   Exhibition at Museum of European Cultures

Based on 13 different everyday objects and object groups, the Museum of European Cultures presented regions, ethnic identities and phenomena highlighting snapshots of Europe’s cultural diversity, whilst simultaneously also illustrating the common ground. Each of these exhibits were surrounded by its own “cosmos” comprising various narratives or contexts introduced via film footage, photographs and further objects from the Museum’s extensive collections.

From the first model to the last brush stroke I supported Busmann + Haberer Architects (project management: Anja Mathesius) by the exhibition planning and realization.

Starting from the extended color concept and space labeling to the point of defining the micro typography for each single exhibit everything came from one scource.
